Mizrach mandala

Underneath the tree of life in the center of this mandala - the place the eye is drawn to - is the Hebrew word 'Mizrach', East. Decorative Mizrach signs are hung on the eastern wall of a home as a reminder of the direction of Jerusalem, the prefered direction for prayer.
