The chamsa is an age-old protection against the evil eye; possibly as old as the ancient Roman glass that gives this silver amulet its extra protective eye. Israeli designer Avihu Zur added an amethist dangle stone, also popular in the time this glass was made and a beautifull backdrop for the traditional blue-tones.
